Remembering Elizabeth Taylor

Actress Elizabeth Taylor died of congestive heart failure on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 79. She was known for her numerous marriages, amazing beauty and fearless style.

In 1987, she started the celebrity fragrance business when she launched her first fragrance, Elizabeth Taylor’s Passion. She soon launched White Diamonds in 1991 and 10 other scents along the years, including Passion for Men in 1988. Though she is considered a fashion icon, her personal style was always questioned.

In 1962, she visited designer Arnold Scaasi’s salon to try on dresses for an appearance for “The Bob Hope Show” and allowed him to continue to dress her ever since. Although her style was not always accepted, her stunning beauty was celebrated all over the world.
